Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable honing work with low expanding pressure without causing clogging to a grinding wheel at the time of honing the inner cylindrical surface of a workpiece.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of honing the inner cylindrical surface 17 of a workpiece 15 by a grinding wheel 7 provided at the honing tool 5 of a honing head 1 that can be rotated and reciprocated, honing is performed by the grinding wheel 7 provided with plural slits 19 spaced appropriately in the longitudinal direction of the grinding wheel 7 and inclined in the rotating direction of the grinding wheel 7.
