Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of rain water, in an automobile associated with a hood covering a bed in the rear of a roll bar, by providing a sealing member at the rear end section of the roll bar and contacting a retainer member with the sealing member when the hood ribs take upstanding attitude. CONSTITUTION:A flange section 2c extending entirely over a ceiling section 2a or both foot sections is formed in the rear of a roll bar 2, and a whether strip 19 is mounted as a sealing member at the tip section of said flange section 2c. When second hood ribs take upstanding attitude, the inner face of a retainer member 16 contacts with the weather strip 19 to provide a tight contact state between the roll bar 2 and the hood ribs 11. Hooks 20 hookable in hook holes 11a of the hood ribs 11 are secured laterally at several positions in the rear of the roll bar 2 in order to hold the hood ribs 11 in upstanding attitude, and catches having hook portions hookable on stop tools provided at the lower end sections of the foot sections of the hood ribs are secured respectively.
