PURPOSE: To feed a hook in a manner with a male hook or female hook made automatically installable, by laterally providing a clearance slightly bigger than a size of the hook cross sectional shape with one end longitudinally opened.

CONSTITUTION: The feeder 40, for a male hook 1 comprising a tongue-shape part 2, a foot portion 3 and a folded portion 4, is constructed by coupling an upper plate 41 and a lower plate 42, provided with a constant interval apart and with their cross sections shaped into almost L-letter-shape, at one side end by using a coupling material 43, and a plurality of the male hooks 1 are laterally contained in the feeder 40 being closely positioned to one another, with its both end parts tightly closed, for instance, likely by tapes, and the handling facilitated. A guide 32, comprising an upper plate 54, lower plate 55 and side plate 56, is fixed to a hook driving machine. The above described feeder device 40 is installed to the guide 32, with the hook 1 sliding into the guide 32 and being continuously fed.
