Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a modulation efficiency from being deteriorated by connecting a series circuit consisting of two S-shape correction capacitor and a horizontal winding of a deflection yoke to a midpoint of two parallel circuits consisting of a collector of a horizontal output transistor(TR), a damper diode and a resonance capacitor, and connecting an inner pin correction capacitor between a modulation source and the midpoint of the two S-shape correction capacitors.
SOLUTION: A DC power supply 2 supplies a power supply voltage. A drive signal with a horizontal period is given to a base of an horizontal output TR 1 to switch the horizontal output TR 1 for the operation of the horizontal deflection circuit. When a modulation source 10 applies a parabolic voltage with a vertical period to the circuit, a deflection current Iy flows to a deflection coil horizontal winding 14, and a modulation current I' based on the parabolic voltage with the vertical period flows to the inner pin correction coil 15. The deflection current Iy is modulated by a parabolic voltage in response to a difference between a collector voltage of the horizontal output TR 1 and the parabolic voltage with the vertical period so that horizontal pin cushion distortion is corrected.
