Abstract:

PURPOSE:To obtain a plated steel sheet practically without a difference in glossiness between the front and rear by providing a couple of the upper rubber roll and lower metallic roll to interpose a traveling steel strip and crushing the protrusion of plating on the lower surface of the strip. CONSTITUTION:A couple of the upper rubber roll 11 and lower metallic roll 10 are provided on the outlet side of the final conductor roll 5a and backup roll 6a to interpose a traveling steel strip 3. The strip 3 is interposed between the rubber roll 11 and metallic roll 10, and the protrusion of plating on the lower surface of the strip 3 is crushed by the metallic roll 10 without regulating the pressure of the strip 3. The rubber roll 11 and metallic roll 10 can be set at an appropriate position on the downstream side of the conductor roll 5a and backup roll 6a, e.g. on the upstream side of a winder.
