Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the noise and the jitterof quantization and also to reduce the hardware scale of a horizontal synchronizing reproducer by selecting a sawtooth wave signal out of a horizontal window showing the periphery of a horizontal synchronizing signal period and then selecting a signal obtained by multiplying the dividing output of a VCO by a video signal within the horizontal window to output it to the VCO.
CONSTITUTION: A multiplying circuit 31 multiplies the dividing output o a VCO 7 sent from an Hvef generating circuit 11 by the video signal sent from an A/D converter 1 and inputs this multiplication signal to a selector 33. Meanwhile the sawtooth wave output received from a sawtooth wave generating circuit 13 is inputted to an AND circuit 37 and then extracted by the output of a horizontal synchronizing separator 15. This extracted output is inputted to the selector 33. The selector 33 switches the input by the signal received from a horizontal window signal generating circuit 9 to select the output of the circuit 37 out of a horizontal window period and to select the output of the circuit 31 within the horizontal window period respectively. Then the selection output of the selector 33 is integrated by an integration circuit 35 and outputted to the VCO 7 via a horizontal loop filter 105. As a result, the loop gain is reduced within the horizontal window period and the operation of a horizontal synchronizing reproducer is stabilized.
