PURPOSE: To provide the subject hosing having good fitness for a foot by twisting a blended yarn of natural fiber and synthetic fiber, untwisting the twisted yarn, subjecting the untwisted yarn to a fixing treatment, knitting the non-shrinkable yarn into the main portion of the hosiery, knitting the non-shrinkable yarn containing rubbery fiber into the opening portion of the hosiery and subsequently cancelling the fixing treatment.

CONSTITUTION: A blended yarn 1 of natural and synthetic fiber continuously slid on a feed roller and fed is heated by the irradiation of far IR rays in a heating zone 5, twisted and untwisted through a rotating spinner of a spinner device, and wound on a winding cylinder 4 to give a treated yarn 1', which is sized and rewound for a fixing treatment to provide a bulky blended yarn. The bulky blended yarn is knitted into me main portion of a hosiery and the upper opening portion connected with the opening portion of the main portion of the hosiery is knitted with a blended yarn comprising the bulky blended yarn containing rubbery fiber such as polyurethane fiber, followed by subjecting the knitted hosiery to a steam treatment or hot water treatment to cancel the fixing treatment, thereby imparting a shrinkage force to the bulky blended yarn to provide the objective hosiery.
