Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate fixing or removal of a burner by a method wherein the burner is held by a holding frame arranged at a lower side of a downstream side shelf in a device in which the crop particles flowing down into a drying chamber are dried by hot air generated by the burner.
CONSTITUTION: A drying machine is constructed such that a slant crop particle drying chamber is formed between a triangular air discharging chamber and both right and left air blowing chambers below the upper crop particle storing chamber. The drying machine is operated such that hot air generated by a burner 3 is fed from a blowing chamber into a crop particle drying chamber, thereby the crop particles flowing down from the crop particle storing chamber to the downstream side shelf are dried. In such a drying machine as described above, a holding frame 19 having L-shaped upper and lower guide plates 18 and 19 is fixed to supporting columns 20 and 20 arranged at a side machine wall below the downstream side shelf through forward or rearward fixing fittings 16 and 17. Then, the burner 3 comprised of a combustion part 21, an air blowing cylinder 21' and a filter part 22' and the like is fixed to the holding frame 15 through upper and lower stays 22 and 23 engaged with the upper and lower guide plates 18 and 19 in such a manner that it may be moved forward or backward.
