Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the hot chamber die casting machine capable of high pressure-casting a zinc base alloy having reduced aluminum content in high productivity.
SOLUTION: In the hot chamber die casting machine to cast a zinc base alloy having <0.3% aluminum, surface layer parts at least of a plunger tip and sleeve at least among members in contact with the zinc base molten metal are made of a material having a contact angle ≥100 degrees with droplets of the zinc base molten metal measured in non-oxidizing gas atmosphere.
