Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-melt flame-retardant adhesive compsn. excellent in adhesion, processability and flame-retardancy at a low cost.
SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin component (A) as the base polymer, 30 to 80 pts.wt. flame-retardant (B), and 5 to 40 pts.wt. flame-retarding assistant (C): (A): a polyolefin resin component comprising at least one of the following (A1), (A2) and (A3): (A1): maleic anhydride-grafted linear low-density polyethylene, (A2): maleic anhydride-grafted ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer, and (A3): maleic anhydride-grafted ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, (B): a frame-retardant comprising one or both of the following (B1) and (B2): (B1): ethylenebispentabromodiphenyl and (B2): decabromodiphenyl oxide, and (C): antimony trioxide.
