To provide a hot melt resin composition for cold transfer coating, by which smooth coating can be performed without causing the scattering of dots and the like, dots with good appearance can be obtained after coating, and high adhesive strength can be obtained.

The hot melt resin composition for cold transfer coating contains a hot melt resin as a major component and comprises a powder having an angle of repose between 40-45°, a bulk specific gravity between 490-700 g/L, and a grain size of 250 μm or less. The hot melt resin is preferably a polyamide or polyester. The hot melt resin composition for cold transfer coating preferably contains 0.1 to 0.8 parts by weight of a lubricant comprising an aliphatic carboxylate with a grain size of 40 μm or less relative to 100 parts by weight of a hot melt resin powder.
