To eliminate coating unevenness of a viscous agent from a plate cylinder to a material to be coated by shortening a moving course of the viscous agent in the plate cylinder and reducing the temperature fall of the viscous agent on the surface of the plate cylinder.
The subject hot melt viscous agent coating device applies the hot melt viscous agent supplied on the surface of the plate cylinder in a state of a film by an applying roller of a viscous agent supply part according to the rotation of the cylinder plate to the material 6 to be coated passing between the plate cylinder 4 and an impression cylinder 5 positioned at the lower part of the plate cylinder 4. In the device, a fixing roller 2 of the viscous agent supply part is made contact on the upstream side in the rotating direction of a contact part of the cylinder plate 4 with the impression cylinder 5, and at a position between the contact part with the impression cylinder and a side of the plate cylinder. A leveling member 8 is faced on the upstream side in the rotating direction of the contact part with the plate cylinder 4 of the applying roller 2 in a manner the facing interval is adjustable.
