A hot melted adhesive applicator 10 is equipped with an adhesive service block 14 having an adhesive passage receiving the adhesive from an adhesive source and an air passage, an adhesive applicator valve module 16 attached to the adhesive service block 14, at least one solenoid operated air valve 12 fitted direct to the adhesive service block and a die block 18.
