Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a hot waste water burning method, in which N2 or water vapor is injected into the hot waste gases in accordance with the fluctuations in the CO concentration and the quantity of liberated heat of the waste gases from a converter or coke oven, so that the burning operation may be effected while the CO concentration and the quantity of liberated heat are being averaged and that the NOx concentration in the waste gases may be reduced and stabilized.
