Abstract:
To prevent high-temperature warm water from being supplied to a warm water supply destination in the case of power outage and suppress an increase in electric power consumption as far as possible, in a warm water supply device that has a mixing valve 2 for mixing cold water flowing in via a water supply passage 4 with hot water flowing in via a hot water delivery passage 5 connected to a hot water storage tank 1 to produce warm water with a predetermined set temperature and supplies the warm water to the warm water supply destination via a warm water supply passage 6 on the downstream side of the mixing valve.SOLUTION: A bypass passage 7 for connecting a hot water delivery passage 5 and a warm water supply passage 6 with a mixing valve 2 in parallel is provided, and a bypass valve 71 comprising a normally-closed type solenoid valve is interposed in the bypass passage 7. When a request warm water temperature in a warm water supply destination is a predetermined reference temperature or lower, the bypass valve 71 is closed, and a set temperature of the mixing valve 2 is set to the request warm water temperature. When the request warm water temperature exceeds the predetermined reference temperature, the bypass valve 71 is opened, and the set temperature of the mixing valve 2 is set such that a temperature of mixed water of warm water from the mixing valve 2 and hot water from the bypass passage 7 becomes the request warm water temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
