Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent noise and vibration in hourglass type warm transmission gear by forming the gearing groove of a hourglass type warm to be geared with a roll arranged on the circumference of a disc to be deeper from the center toward the opposite ends. CONSTITUTION:Rolls 24 having the shaft in tangential direction of a disc 20 are arranged with constant pitch on the circumference of the disc 20 fixed to a driven shaft 18. While spiral grooves 16 are formed with same pitch with that of the roll 24 in the saddle type warm 14 having a drive shaft 12 to be geared with the roll 24. The cross-section of the spiral groove 16 is formed theoretically in the center of the warm 14 while formed into deeper groove gradually toward the opposite ends of the warm 14. Consequently, when the rolls 24 will gear with the spiral grooves 16, the roll 24 is previously applied with pressure to cause no vibration or noise.
