PURPOSE: To provide a housing device for vehicle which is convenient for taking out and requires no special locking metal fitting at closing a lid by forming a tapered surface on the lower end of a stopper guide on both side lower surfaces on this side of an outer frame upper plate, and engagingly locking the braking cam angle part of a front lid by the tapered surface.

CONSTITUTION: A sliding case body 4 is pushed to the deep side of an outer frame 3 against the elastic force of a spring 8, a locking claw is engagingly locked by a lock device, and a front lid 11 is rotated with a pin 12 as a center into the lid closed state against the elastic force of a spring 13. A braking cam 14 is pressed onto and engagingly locked by the tapered lower surface 15a of a stopper guide 15 suspended from the lower surface of an upper plate 2 to hold the lid closed state. At lid opening, the locking claw is released from the lock device when the front lid 11 is pushed, and the sliding case body 4 is pushed out on this side by an arm 7 by the elastic force of the spring 8. At this time, the braking cam 14 is also released from the taper lower surface 15a of the stopper guide 15 to open the lid with the pin 12 as the center by the elastic force of the spring 13.
