PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle overcoming defects from the viewpoints of toughness and practicality.SOLUTION: The present invention especially relates to a housing type handle, and the handle comprises: a support section (50) that includes at least one lead-through slot (60); a flexible grip (20) that passes through the at least one lead-through slot (60) and partially includes a first portion (21) having at least one strap ring (30) which works in concert with at least one guide tab (40) arranged on a side of an inner surface (52) of the support section (50); and at least one stopper. The grip (20) slides between a carrying position where the at least one strap ring (30) at the first portion (21) of the grip (20) contacts the at least one stopper and a housing position where a second portion (22) of the grip (22) substantially extends along an outer surface (51) of the support section (50). The present invention also relates to a bag having at least one handle as stated above.
