Abstract:
The method involves leaving supporting points (68) at a reference point in a place when a number of images spots (112) to be imaged in a surrounding area of the reference point exceeds a limit value and a boundary area in the surrounding area contains only image spots to be imaged. A burn-off from a burn-off area is detached from a printing form (10) in a cleaning step. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a system for digital imaging of a printing form (b) a printing unit comprising a system for digital imaging of a printing form (c) a printing press comprising a printing unit.
