Abstract:
To provide the method for cleaning the suction main piping, that can efficiently perform cleaning of tar soot in the suction main piping for discharging a coke oven gas from a coke oven, without introducing a large-scale facility.SOLUTION: The method for cleaning the suction main piping that discharges the coke oven gas from the coke oven comprises: introducing a jig that satisfies following conditions (1),(2) into the suction main piping, and spraying water from a spray nozzle at a tip of the jig to remove the tar soot in the suction main piping, wherein a condition (1) is that water having a temperature of 50 to 90°C can be injected into the suction main piping as the water and the condition (2) is that water injection inside the suction main piping can be performed at least within a range between a position having a height of 1/12 of an inner diameter of the suction main piping from a bottom of the suction main piping and the position having a height of 2/3 of the inner diameter of the suction main piping from the bottom of the suction main piping.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
