Abstract:
The invention relates to an operating table, having a patient support surface, which has at least one component that can be moved by means of an actuator (15), which operating table comprises: a user interface (11, 12), by means of which a user can input an instruction for moving the component into a user interface microcontroller (18); and a control device (13), which is designed to query and authenticate data of the user interface microcontroller (18) and, in the case of successful authentication, to control the actuator (15) in order to move the component in accordance with the instruction from the user.
