Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the precipitation of solidifying components and to suitably follow up to the change of driving conditions upon the cooling of an ammonium carbamate-containing fluid.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for cooling the fluid, using a device including: a heat exchanger cooling the fluid by heat exchange with a coolant; a coolant cooler cooling the coolant by heat exchange with cooling water; a circulation line introducing the coolant exhausted from the heat exchanger through the coolant cooler; and a by-pass line branched from the circulation line, by-passing the coolant cooler and joined with the circulation line, and comprising: a step where the fluid is cooled with the coolant, and further, the coolant is cooled with the cooling water; a step where the flow rate of the coolant flowing through the coolant cooler is operated to control the temperature of the fluid to a temperature higher than the temperature at which a solid is precipitated from the fluid; and a step where the flow rate of the coolant flowing through the by-pass line is operated to control the flow rate of the coolant flowing through the heat exchanger to a fixed value, and also provided is the device performing this method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
