PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique where deinked pulp is produced from waste paper raw material hard to be deinked such as a UV printed matter.SOLUTION: Provided is a deinking technique comprising: a step where printed waste paper including a UV printed matter is disaggregated into an aqueous solvent to obtain pulp slurry; and a step where a deinking agent including a nonionic surfactant is contacted with the pulp slurry in an emulsion state at a temperature higher than or equal to the cloud point of the nonionic surfactant.SELECTED DRAWING: None
