Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormal lightning strike determination system which can determine whether a lightning strike to a windmill blade is normal or abnormal and can be easily fixed to an existing wind turbine generator facility, the normal lightning strike being a lightning strike to a receptor and the abnormal lightning strike being a lightning strike to the outside of the receptor.SOLUTION: The abnormal lightning strike determination system includes: a current sensor 25 for detecting a lightning strike current temporarily generated by a lightning strike; vibration sensors 26A to 26C provided to the blade bodies 36A to 36C for detecting a vibration temporarily generated by a lightning strike; and a controller 16 for determining a lightning strike (abnormal lightning strike) to positions other than the receptors 18A to 18C based on the current detected by the current sensor 25 and the vibrations detected by the vibration sensors 26A to 26C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
