PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for building a road on a slop face.SOLUTION: The method of the present invention includes the steps of: constructing a temporary stage for a workplace of a hydraulic excavator; moving the hydraulic excavator on the stage, cutting an upper or lower slope face into a step shape, filling a plurality of large-sized sandbags with generated sediment, and temporarily placing the sandbags on the temporary stage; placing some of the large-sized sandbags on the lowest stage of the slope face cut in the step shape so as to be aligned along the laying direction of the road, filling a gap with the natural ground with on-site generated soil so as to be substantially flush with the upper surface of the large-sized sandbags, rolling the soil to be a substantially horizontal face, and laying a geogrid over the soil and the natural ground, to construct 1 to n stages of a first row; constructing a concrete sidewall on the side surface side of the aligned large-sized sandbags to complete the first row toward the laying direction of the road; repeating these steps to complete the mth row toward the laying direction of the road; and covering the nth stage with the on-site generated soil over the completed 1 to m rows, rolling the soil, and constructing a road surface to build the road on the slope face.
