Abstract:
To provide a brush that excels in dewatering and that has superior use feeling by maintaining prescribed suppleness of bristles, and to provide a manufacturing method of the brush.SOLUTION: A brush 1 having a bristle bundle 5A implanted on a synthetic resin-made head part, includes: implanting holes 6 that penetrate the front face and the back face of the head part; the bristle bundle 5A that is made of synthetic resin fiber and that is inserted in the implanting holes; a massive part 5B that is formed in one end of the head back face side of the bristle bundle inserted in the implanting holes and that is in the fused solidified state of the bristle bundle; a restraining part 6a for restraining the massive part 5B of the bristle bundle; and a plurality of bristle bundle fixing part 7 that is provided in each of the implanting holes 6, that covers the back face side of the massive part 5B of the bristle bundle 5A restrained in the restraining part 6a, and that is in the fused solidified state of resin to close the implanting holes. The one bristle bundle 5A is fixed on the head part 4 by one bristle bundle fixing part 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
