To carry out finish machining by stable cutting even if prepared holes are unevenly distributed or deformed in a manufacturing method of an expansion valve concurrently forming an outer shape of a body and a prepared hole of a predetermined through-hole by extrusion.
In an extrusion process, by extruding a billet by using a predetermined die or mandrel, the outer shape of the body and the prepared hole of the through-hole are formed at the same time. Recessed parts provided at predetermined intervals along a circumferential direction of a circular outer circumference face forming the prepared holes are plurally arranged in the mandrel, and by through the extrusion process, a plurality of protruding parts protruding in radial inward directions is formed on a circular inner circumference face of the prepared holes. In a cutting process, cutting is started from of a tip of any one of the protruding parts.
