Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a blast furnace capable of reducing the amount of real COgenerated, by utilizing generated COeffectively.SOLUTION: This method comprises: a step (A) for separating and collecting COfrom a mixed gas containing CO; a step (B) for adding hydrogen-based reducing agent to the COseparated and collected in the step (A) to convert the COinto CO; a step (C) for separating and removing HO or HO and Nfrom the gas that has passed through the step (B); and a step (D) for blowing the gas that has passed through the step (C) into a blast furnace. The COis separated and collected from the mixed gas containing the COand reformed into CO, and the CO is blown into the blast furnace. As a result, the blast furnace that effectively utilizes COcan be operated at low cost, and the amount of COgenerated can be reduced.
