Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for operating a composite system (1) and a winder for a composite system. The composite system is composed of at least one ring spinning machine (2) and at least one winder (3), wherein the jobs (4) of the winder (3) are stopped in the operating state "off" and unnecessary loads of the winder (3) are switched off, when the cop of the drop roll of at leastone ring spinning machine is processed on the winder and the next drop roll of at least one ring spinning machine is not yet available, the winder operates in the "off" mode of operation, selection ismade between at least a first operating condition and a second operating condition. In the second operating condition, the winding speed and duration in the "off" operating state is greater than thatin the first operating condition to achieve lower energy consumption in the second operating condition than in the first operating condition, in which the winding speed and duration in the "off" operating state in the first operating condition is less than that in the second operating condition to obtain the higher finished product cross-wound bobbin quality in the second operating condition.
