Abstract:

To provide a method for preventing heat generation and combustion in a waste material reclaimed ground that prevents fire and generation of hazardous substances such as dioxins by controlling heat generation and combustion caused by oxidation of inorganic components and organic components contained in buried waste materials while solving problems of cost and aftertreatment of water (treatment of seepage water).

A water injection pipe 1 and a gas injection pipe 2 are installed in the layer of the buried waste materials. Water and steam are injected to the layer of the waste materials from the water injection pipe 1 and the gas injection pipe 2 respectively.
