Abstract:
To obtain a marigold oleo-resin capable of being filled into a soft capsule and having a high lutein content.
This marigold oleo-resin of low viscosity and having the high lutein content is obtained by combining a process for subjecting the oleo-resin to supercritical extraction treatment and another process for dissolving the extract in a ketone-based solvent, then cooling, and removing an insoluble component.
