Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a recovery rate of an iron-manganese oxide recovered from slag.SOLUTION: In the method, bare metal removal treatment for removing a bare metal is performed to steel slag containing a CaO-SiO-POphase and an (Fe, Mn)Ox phase and then an iron and manganese oxide is recovered. Cooling treatment for cooling the steel slag is performed in such a manner that an average cooling speed to 1,200°C becomes 20°C/min or lower with respect to the steel slag having basicity after the treatment of 1.5-2.5 or the steel slag adjusted in such a manner that the basicity after the treatment becomes 1.5-2.5. Pulverization treatment is performed to the steel slag to which the bare metal removing treatment and the cooling treatment are performed in such a manner that a representative particle diameter after being pulverized becomes 50 μm or smaller and when classification treatment for classifying the slag after the pulverization treatment into a coarse grain and fine grain, treatment is performed in such a manner that the ratio of the representative particle diameter of the coarse grain to the representative particle diameter of the fine grain becomes 2.5 times or more and the coarse grain is recovered after the classification treatment.
