Abstract:
To provide a technique for collecting valuables such as silicon and silver from a solar battery panel which has been used, in a safe and efficient manner.SOLUTION: There is provided a valuables collection method comprising: a heating step for performing heating processing to a solar battery panel from which an outer frame and a cover glass are removed, for volatilizing an organic matter forming a back sheet and an encapsulation material, then separating the organic matter into a visible metal component and a residue; an exuding step for adding an acid to the residue generated in the heating step and heating the residue, for exuding silver included in the residue to the acid for washing and sucking and filtering the sliver; and an extraction processing step for, after the exuding step, adding a chloride ion-containing substance to the acquired filtrate and mixing the filtrate and the substance, and then, filtering the acquired mixture for extracting a metal chloride.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
