Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling steelmaking slag containing hardly recyclable Cr2 O3 by which the slag is recycled in a blast furnace, and the mixture of using recycled slag is controlled within the range below the upper limit for controlling Cr concentration in molten iron and F concentration in the blast furnace slag. SOLUTION: An upper limit for the control is specified for the Cr concentration in molten iron and F concentration in blast furnace slag, and the mixture is controlled according to Cr2 O3 and F concentration of the steelmaking slag. For example, the upper limit control value of Cr concentration in molten iron is in a range of 0.03-0.1 mass% according to the Cr concentration control range in the product, and the F concentration in the blast furnace slag is controlled in a rang of 0.8 mg/l which is the upper limit for regulating F elution from the slag.
