Abstract:
To provide a method for temporarily releasing a safety mode of a sudden-start-prevention device which is useful for preventing sudden start or erroneous start of a vehicle due to an erroneous depression or erroneous operation of an accelerator pedal, in particular, to provide the method for temporarily releasing a safety mode of a sudden-start-prevention device that can be reliably performed by an extremely simple manner when vehicle turning right at an intersection, traveling backward on an upward slope, starting on a snowy road, or the like.SOLUTION: In a method for switching from a safety mode to a normal mode when a vehicle turning right, traveling backward on an upward slope, starting on a snowy road, or the like, there is provided a method for temporarily releasing the safety mode of a sudden-start-prevention device 5 comprising: upon pressing a timer switch 6 provided near the driver's hand to prevent a sudden start, turning off power of the sudden-start-prevention device 5 to switching the sudden-start-prevention device into the normal mode; and after a predetermined time, turning on the power of the sudden-start-prevention device 5 to return the sudden-start-prevention device into an original state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
