Abstract:
To provide a method for treating a green solution, by which impurities in the green solution can enough be removed by a simple process and apparatus.
This method for treating the green solution, comprising adding an anionic polymer coagulant with two or more portions to the green solution produced on the production of craft pulp to remove impurities, is characterized adding a first anionic polymer coagulant to a turbulent flow region in front of a pump or behind the pump disposed in a line for delivering the green solution to a clarifier, and then adding the final anionic polymer coagulant, before the green solution is delivered to the clarifier.
