Abstract:
To provide methods of treating inflammatory conditions.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of treating an inflammatory disease, or a condition associated with, or resulting in part from, elevated levels of IL-33 and IL-4, in particular inflammatory lung disorders. The method of the present invention includes administering one or more therapeutically effective doses of an IL-33 antagonist alone or in combination with one or more therapeutically effective doses of an IL-4R antagonist to a subject who needs the treatment. In a particular embodiment, the method of the present invention includes use of the antagonists for treating any inflammatory disease or condition partially mediated by enhanced IL-33-mediated signaling and IL-4-mediated signaling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
