Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lime kiln partially utilizing the heat of combustion of a living waste which needs extra transporting cost for its bulkiness and has hygienically bad influence on people along the transportation route, because its birthplace is not always adjacent to the cement factory. SOLUTION: The lime firing furnace 51 is provided with a calcining kiln 21 which decarboxylates the lime utilizing the heat of combustion of the waste W. The decarboxylated lime is used as a part of the cement base material and used in a gas-firing kiln and the lime kiln including an incinerator. A rotary, jet and fluidized kiln are used as the calcining kiln 21.
