Abstract:

To provide a hub unit for a drive wheel capable of suitably loading load and ensuring rigidity even when a transmission torque capacity can be increased while suppressing the size and weight from increasing.

The hub unit 10 for the drive wheel is provided with a hub 11; an outer ring 21; a first inner ring 22; a second inner ring 23; and a plurality of balls 24. A step 15 is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the hub 11, the inner diameter D14of a spline hole 14 formed on an inner peripheral surface of the hub 11 is set larger than the width W21of the outer ring 21, and the width W22of the first inner ring 22 is larger than the width W23of the second inner ring 23.
