PURPOSE: To provide compactness of an assembly so that work can be automatized by building a plurality of longitudinals in a divided panel.
CONSTITUTION: In a longitudinal assembly device 11 for building longitudinals 2 in a divided panel 12 of a skin plate, the device is characterized by providing a positioning carriage 13 for loading the divided panel 12 positioned in a reference position, longitudinal storage supply device 5 provided in the vicinity of a running path l4 of the positioning carriage 13 to supply the longitudinal 2 onto the carriage 13 while storing the longitudinal 2 and a longitudinal positioning welding device 16 provided in the running path 14 of the positioning carriage 13 to hold the longitudinal 2 in a predetermined attitude performed with positioning and also for welding the divided panel 12 to the longitudinal 2.
