Title:
HUMAN BODY-WORN TYPE UPPER BODY SUPPORTING APPARATUS FOR OPERATION IN SLOUCHY POSTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002161414
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce fatigue and ache of waist occurring in an operation in a slouchy posture irrespective of type of industry and to improve an operation efficiency.

This upper body supporting apparatus has a constitution of three kinds of a back pad 1 reaching from the backside of the thighs to the whole area of the back, a breast pad 2 and belts 4, 5, 8 and 9 for attachment to a human body and strength adjustment (with a length-adjustable connection part). The belts 8 and 9 are laid across both the shoulders and both the armpits in a crossed state in the breast pad. The back pad 1 is connected to the breast pad 2 and the lower part of the pad 1 is provided with belts 4 and 5 for the right and left legs. The back pad 1 has a built-in FRP strut having elasticity (flexural rigidity) and in a slouchy posture, a force for raising the upper half of the body always operates by the force of repulsion of the strut to reduce a burden for the waist. The strength adjustment of the force of repulsion to raise or support the upper half of the body has a mechanism to increase the strength by shortening the lengths of the belts 4, 5, 8 and 9 and to reduce the strength by lengthening the lengths of the belts. A cut line is formed at the lower central part of the back pad 1 and the pad is divided into right and left to readily move both the things.
