To solve the problem of conventional devices for determining the directions of movements of human bodies, wherein it cannot determine whether a plurality of rooms are each occupied, since the conventional device determines only the directions of movements of human bodies for determining the directions of the movements of human bodies, in the order of two installed human-sensitive sensors in the case that humans have moved within detection regions of the human dection sensors.
This human detection sensor is provided with a human-sensitive sensor means 101, in which two human-sensitive sensors 11 and 12 or more for detecting humans are installed so as not to mutually interefere the relative position of the boundary line on the boundary line of the entrance/exit to a closed space; a room entrance/exit determining means 102 for determining whether a human has entered a closed space or exited from it, on the basis of a time difference between detection signals from the plurality of human-sensitive sensors 11 and 12 of the human-sensitive sensor means 101; and a time difference setting means 103 for setting the time difference, as desired, for determination at the room entrance/exit determining means 102. The two human-sensitive sensors 11 and 12 or more are arranged at relative positions of a boundary line of an entrance/exit of the closed space on the boundary line in the inside and at the of outside the closed space, in such a way as not to interfere with each other. It is possible to adapt, as desired, changes in the detection response time of the human-sensitive sensors on the boundary line.
