Title:
HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE-CONTAINING AQUEOUS MEDICINAL COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3723857
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of inhibiting the deamination, polymerization and coagulation thereof sufficiently, also suppressing the generation of fine particles and providing a stable aqueous preparation of a human growth hormone by dissolving the human growth hormone in a buffered slightly or weakly acidic solution containing benzalkonium chloride.
SOLUTION: This human growth hormone-containing aqueous medicinal composition is obtained by dissolving (A) a human growth hormone in a buffered slightly or weakly acidic solution preferably of pH 5-7 and containing 0.002-0.03 mg benzalkonium chloride based on 1 mL of the composition. As the buffering agent, a maleic acid salt, a succinic acid salt and a citric acid salt are cited, and the concentration of the buffering agent in the composition is preferably 1-100 mM. Further, it is preferable to contain (B) preferably 30-100 mg D- mannitol, and or (C) 5-20 mg neutral salt (preferably sodium chloride), and (D) 1-5 mg antiseptic (preferably sodium benzoate).
