The detachable buttocks 301 are properly installed on a back surface of a lower body 104 of a humanoid robot 101 in accordance with the operation environments or applications. For example, the detachable buttocks 301 having a structure suitable to be seated on a chair is provided, and it is installed on the back surface of the lower body 104 of the humanoid robot 101. On a cabin 500 of a heavy machine, for example, the humanoid robot 101 can be seated on a chair 501, so that driving operation using hands and feet can be carried out. The humanoid robot 101 can be provided with a function to be stably seated on an ordinary chair 504. A humanoid robot of high practicability having an excellent seating function can be provided.
