PURPOSE: To keep the whole silk mill at a proper humidity, to prevent the drying of sericin on the surface of above, and to eliminate the adhesion to the twisting part or uneven reeling, by spraying water with compressed air fed to the spray unit in the reeling chamber, and by using a humidity automatic control unit.

CONSTITUTION: Compressed air is fed through the air pipes 2 to the spray units 3 on the ceiling of the reeling chamber by the Roots blower 1. Water is fed from the supply 5 through the water pipes 4 to the units 3 to spray the water. The automatic humidity control unit 6 is provided in the chamber to control the feed of the air and to adjust the spray.
