Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier for excellently preventing or minimizing generation of dew condensed in a steel supply box, and efficiently demonstrating the draining function.
SOLUTION: A steam supply box 1 having a plurality of steam supply holes 3 is provided on a face side facing a traveling web 2, a plurality of steam supply chambers 5 are formed by partitioning the steam supply box 1 by bulkheads 4 in the width direction of the web 2, a steam intake 6 to supply steam is provided in each steam supply chamber 5, a drain port 8 to discharge dew is formed in a lower part of each steam supply chamber 5, and a dew preventive means 10 by the heating is provided on an outer periphery of the steam supply box 1 except parts having the steam supply holes 3.
