PURPOSE: To enable to humidify with smaller amount of energy by inducing the ambient indoor air without installing a blower by a method wherein water is spouted from a jet nozzle into a room to form a fluid water film and infrared rays are irradiated to heat it.
CONSTITUTION: Water pooled in a water container 5 is spouted from a jet nozzle 1 into a room through a piping 2 by means of an operation of a circulation pump 3 to form a water film 7. Infrared ray lamps 6 irradiate infrared rays to the water film 7. Accordingly, the water film 7 composed of pulverized water can be formed from the jet nozzle 1 and the contact area between the indoor air and the water film is large and further, humidification of the indoor air is effectively performed. And further, since the infrared rays are irradiated onto the water film 7, the water film is directly heated and a humidification can be performed with a smaller amount of energy while a blowing device is unnecessitated because the ambient indoor air is induced by means of the jet nozzle 1.
