Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure and to improve operability by installing a weight conventionally linked with the height adjustment of a bar inside a leg in a fixed state and linking the falling supporting point of a hurdle with the height change of the bar.
SOLUTION: For this hurdle for field and track events, a support is constituted of a hollow lower part fixed column 3 whose lower end is fixed to a hurdle base part 4 and a hollow upper part sliding column 2 freely slidably fitted to the lower part fixed column, the hurdle base part 4 is provided with a hollow base leg part 5 in which the weight is mounted, a turning lever 6 pressed by a spring 7 is pivotally supported inside the hollow lower part fixed column 3 and a window part 9 capable of putting a pawl part 8 provided on the upper end part of the turning lever 6 in and out is provided on the wall surface of the lower part fixed column 3. Then, a movable plate 10 pressed by the spring 11 is pivotally supported to the hurdle base part 4 and the lower end 12 of the turning lever 6 and the outer peripheral surface 13 of the movable plate 10 are detachably brought into contact with each other and locked.
