Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate need for operation to chemically bind an antibody to toxin molecules by preparing a polydoma capable of producing a hybrid monoclonal antibody having specificity for human lymphotoxin in one thereof and for tumor-related antigens on cancerous cell surface membranes in the other.

CONSTITUTION: The objective hybrid monoclonal antibody, having double specificity and obtained by fusing an antihuman lymphotoxin antibody-producing hybridoma to an antibody-producing hybridoma against human transferrin receptors frequently expressed on cancerous cell surface membranes and using the resultant tetraoma.
