Abstract:
PURPOSE: To raise the response accuracy by controlling the torque of the pneumatic motor and the motor of a hybrid drive system as specified. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid motor 1 is composed of an electric direct drive motor 10 consisting of an electric rotor 12 and an electric stator 18, and a pneumatic vane motor 11 consisting of a pneumatic rotor 13 and a pneumatic stator, and they are accommodated in a common casing 17. The electric rotor 12 of this motor 10 is coupled with the pneumatic rotor 13, and both rotors 12 and 13 share the load of the hybrid motor 1. Then, the motor 10 offers 10-20% of the rated continuous torque of an actuator and the pneumatic motor 11 offers 100% or under. The torque applied by the pneumatic motor 11 is adjusted by a controller, and it is controlled so that the motor 10 may supply the difference between the torque by the pneumatic motor 11 and the required torque during transient operation.
